Our 2nd Annual Kids Essentials Drive: July 21 - September 5
Back-to-school season is here, and we're thrilled to launch our 2nd Annual Kids Essentials Back To School Donation Drive! This year, our goal is to equip 100 children with the basics they need to start the school year with confidence and dignity.
While many drives focus on school supplies, we concentrate on the essential items that help kids feel comfortable and confident: new backpacks filled with socks, underwear, and shoes. These basics make a tremendous difference in a child's school experience.
Mark your calendars! Our donation drive runs from July 21st to September 5th, with the giveaway weekend on September 20th when we'll distribute these essentials to families in need.
Qualifications: Partnering with schools and Mental Health Facilities, we will compile detailed lists of the most vulnerable children and families. By nominating and registering, families will access vital supplies through a thorough screening process that prioritizes those in dire circumstances.

We've partnered with local retailers to stretch your donation dollars even further! Walmart has generously provided a $1000 sponsorship for our needs, and with enough monetary donations, Shoe Encore will provide a special 15% discount on socks and shoes, helping us serve more children.
Current Retail Prices:
- Socks: $6-$8 per pack at Walmart
- Underwear: $8-$15 per pack at Walmart
- Kids' shoes: $6-$25 at Walmart, up to $60 at Shoe Encore
By pooling our resources and leveraging these partnerships, we can maximize each dollar donated and help ensure every child starts school with the essentials they need.

While school supplies get much attention during back-to-school season, basic clothing items like socks, underwear, and shoes are often overlooked but critically important for children's well-being and confidence.
